She takes the draw and can come in off the circle. Evans will battle for any loose ground ball. On offense, she is a quick dodger and has a fast shot. She has different release points on her shot: overhand, sidearm, and underhand. The Florida commit is a good 2-way midfielder who plays great defense and anticipates everything. On the draw, she can win it to herself, or she can come in off the circle and read it successfully. At the next level, this is a 2-way midfielder who wants to play every minute. The Deerfield (Mass.) product makes accurate feeds and the right play. She plays low on the goalie's left side. That position is so valuable at the next level. She is an explosive and aggressive dodger who loves to re-dodge when she knows she has a good matchup. What makes her elite is her ability to understand how to draw a slide to her advantage. Some defenders, when they get the ball across the 50-yard line, become deer in headlights and become tunnel-visioned on the goal. They have to shoot the ball.
