Ranked No. 54 on Prep Girls Lacrosse, Ashley Dimnaku is the definition of a complete two-way midfielder. Defensively, she brings nonstop energy and plays every possession with intensity. She is comfortable extending out, intercepting feeds, and throwing excellent checks. Her effort also carries into ground ball situations, where she competes hard to regain possession.

Once her team secures the ball, Dimnaku’s athleticism and speed make her an important part of the clear. She attacks the goal with confidence and pairs strong field vision with accurate shot placement. Her textbook 8-meter shot is especially dependable and regularly produces successful finishes. Dimnaku also consistently performs at a high level around the draw circle. With her ability to contribute on the draw, in transition, and at both ends of the field, she is prepared to strengthen any college midfield unit.

One of the best single-game performances I have seen all summer. In her game against Pennsylvania Blue, Dimnaku started her success by winning the draw to herself. Early in the game, Dimnaku ran the floor herself and scored. Then she ran the ball in off the 8-meter. After that, she had an amazing finish on the crease. She played great 1v1 defense. Dimnaku out ran everyone, chasing after groundballs. A truly special performance in the semifinals of American Select.

Dimnaku is going to have a very high value when getting recruited because she is a two-way midfielder who can actually play on both sides of the ball. She is very athletic and can run the floor very well on the clear. She can get out into open space. On her dodges, she gets downhill. She has good placement on her shots. Her vision is very good. Defensively, Dimnaku plays hard all the time. She can intercept passes, get out far and defend by the football numbers, pick up ground balls, and throw successful checks.
