Sparano is a fundamental 2-way midfielder. She is a hard downhill dodger who will drive through contact. The Lawrenceville School (N.J.) product is extremely shifty and explosive on her dodges and will weave through defenders. Off-ball on offense, she makes effective cuts. On the draw, she comes in off the circle, and she reads the ball well. On the clear, she is very fast and will get the ball across to the offense. Defensively, she plays good 1v1 defense and drives players out on their hips.

Andie Sparano Andie Sparano Midfield Lawrenceville School | 2028 NJ is one of those players who makes things happen and is a playmaker who does it all. As a true midfielder, Sparano fights through contact to get to the cage on cuts and dodges. As a cutter, she is extremely deceptive, and as a dodger, she leaves defenders on their heels. On the defensive side, Andie is able to get the ball from creating pressure and securing it with a ground ball. Sparano is definitely a player to keep an eye out for as she heads into this N.J. girls’ lax season.

While labeled a midfielder, Sparano has a nose for the goal. She is strong and fast and wants to push the pace of any game she is a part of. She is a downhill dodger with the skills to separate from defenders to get a high-quality shot off. Sparano is on the National Watch list for her class, but it would be no shock if she jumps up in the rankings as her strength and speed increase in the next few years.
