Uncommitted PA 2028s Who Deserve More Attention

These five uncommitted Pennsylvania 2028s made their presence felt this summer. From dynamic midfield play to lockdown defense and confident finishing, each brings something different to the field. College coaches, keep these names on your radar.

Davis brings instant speed to the midfield. Her explosive first step and sharp changes of direction make her difficult to contain, and she protects her stick well while driving through contact. She can create her own shot, finish with confidence, and keep the offense moving as a facilitator. Davis also contributes on the draw, including self draws, and uses her speed to make an impact in transition. She has a knack for finding the ball and making something happen with it.

Coffey's voice is as valuable to her defense as her play. She keeps teammates organized, calls out what she sees, and provides timely help when a slide is needed. In 1v1 matchups, she stays composed and sound in her positioning. She also reads passing lanes well, creating disruptions and turnovers, then works to secure the loose ball. Coffey's leadership and consistent play stood out throughout the summer.

Nepereny covers ground quickly and makes her presence felt across the defensive end. She communicates, wins ground balls, and plays a physical style that makes attackers work for every opening. Her 1v1 defense is a strength, but she can also disrupt a pass or pressure a ball carrier into a mistake without losing her position. That combination makes Nepereny one of the tougher defensive matchups in the 2028 class.

Hassler makes every possession a battle. She stays on attackers with persistent pressure, times her checks well, and often turns a knocked loose ball into a possession for her team. Her anticipation helps her get to ground balls early, while her effort helps her finish the play. Throughout the summer, Hassler stood out for the physicality and determination she brought to the defensive end.

Darlington is an energetic attacker who knows how to find space and make the most of it. She cuts into scoring areas at the right time, uses fakes and quick stick work to create openings, and finishes well in tight. She can also shoot from farther out and from different angles, with a quick release that gives defenders little time to react. Darlington brings a vocal presence and a strong feel for the game, making her an underrated 2028 attacker deserving of more attention.
