She's an aggressive, gritty defender who makes a major impact around the crease. She applies constant pressure, plays hard until she wins the ball, and does not get tricked by dodges or cuts. She seems to be able to see the future and understands an attacker's next move before it happens, and stays in a strong position to defend. Her positioning and awareness of drivers and cutters are top tier. She stays low, keeps contact, pushes the offense out of the CSE, forces tough shots, and creates caused turnovers like it is nobody's business. Her stick is always up, and she is always ready to slide and help. In transition, she is strong and fast, moving the ball quickly up the field to an attacker and handling pressure with confidence. She is a gritty midfielder who goes after every ground ball and makes her presence felt all over the field. She is strong on the draw, has great stick skills, communicates well defensively, and plays as a team-first player. She directs with her stick, has clean body contact, and is key in the redefend, always there to slow the ball down, get a clean back check, or cause a turnover. Her speed and relentlessness are incredible, especially off the circle on draws, where she boxes out smartly to help herself or her team gain possession. Chase also has a great handle, a powerful dodge, and a shot that can trip up defenders. Her shot placement shows her IQ, and her accuracy is impressive. Thats [player_tooltip player_id='74678' first='Zoe' last='Chiclacos']. She tracks well, has great control of her stick, and a powerful clear. She reads the offense well, tracking the ball on feeds, and steps up quickly to stuff shots. Her low saves are top-tier, and her footwork and awareness are on another level. After making a save, Zoe keeps her head up and her ears open, listening for teammates and looking for the best clearing option. She also creates interceptions and stays composed under pressure.
