The Northeast Summer Tournament by Premier 37 Events took place on June 13-14 in Albany, N.Y. Players from the Classes of 2027-2034 showcased their talents at three different venues. The 2030s-2034s played on June 13, while the 2027s-2029s each had their own venue on June 14.

Here are the standouts:

Devin Regan is a talented attacker, but her confidence set her apart in the tournament. She would set herself up to dodge and drive, and while heavily marked with very good body defense, would still get a high-quality shot off that most others wouldn't even consider. She was seen threading between multiple defenders throughout the day, and again, while heavily defended, still finding the back of the net. You can see her choose her shot based on where the defenders' hands and stick are. Her shooting IQ made her a standout performer and set her apart from others.

[player_tooltip player_id='73917' first='Jacey' last='Cerretto'] dominated the draw this weekend. She won at least 70% of the draws in each game she played. As a 2-way midfielder, her defensive IQ also shined. Cerretto understands good body position. She could be seen baiting an offensive player for a check without losing her positioning. She is smart and calculated with her checking opportunities. Her athleticism allows her to transition the ball with speed and confidence. She is clearly a team-first player, setting up multiple teammates for scoring opportunities both on and off-ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='73919' first='Olivia' last='Field'] is a goalie who makes her presence known. She has great communication and chemistry with her defensive unit. After the offense scores a goal, she would leave the crease to go high-five or click sticks with each defensive teammate. But what set her apart this weekend? She saves when she is alone. In one game, Field was observed making huge saves on breakaways with no defender near a shooter. Then, when the rebound hits the ground and is shot again, she made a second save before leaving the crease to get the next rebound herself and move the ball up the field. This happened multiple times, and her confidence and style of play never wavered. She is a highly active and confident goalie wherever she is on the field.

Mallory Riordan, a right-handed goalie, kept her team in close games with very talented opponents this weekend. She uses her body well in terms of positioning and moves well, transitioning from post to post. She made impressive saves from the 8m and on her doorstep alike. She is confident in the quick clear, which sets her team up for success going the other direction. She was composed and consistent from start to end.

[player_tooltip player_id='73918' first='Lilah' last='Uchal']'s off-ball IQ set her apart at this tournament. She is a great driver and gets great shots off in traffic. But this weekend, her knowledge of where to cut and when set her team up for success. Uchal was able to be deceptive and appear that she was working with a teammate, just to slip and be ready for a feed and to bury a shot. And with her height, she makes it look easy. Her chemistry with her teammates is evident. She was also a huge part of the success on the draw, proving a quick outlet for the taker and safely securing the possession for her team.

Morgyn Jackson is a captivating player to watch. First, you notice her superior athleticism. Her speed allows her to transition the ball alone when needed with ease. Then, how agile and shifty she is quickly stands out. In one play, she dodged three girls, just to be fouled from behind and finish with a diving shot in the back of the net. Threading the needle is definitely a strength of hers. Slides go early to her, and rightfully so. She also handles defensive pressure very well.

Jenna Mangano is a very well-rounded attack. She thrived at the elbow this weekend in her abilities to dodge, draw the slide, and either dump the ball to her teammate or thread for a shot. She demonstrates high off-ball IQ with the timing and style of her cuts, depending on what is happening on ball. She is confident moving the goalie before she shoots and does so well.
