The girls' lacrosse season is well underway here in Pennsylvania, and players across the state are already making a major impact for their respective teams. Here is a look at five of those individuals making a difference early - in particular, players who are underclassmen and are looking to put their names on the watchlists of college programs across the country.

Those familiar with the Pennsylvania lacrosse scene will certainly recognize this last name. With over 300 career wins across 16 years at the helm, Amy Orcutt is a legendary coach in Pennsylvania girls lacrosse.

But it is [player_tooltip player_id='71183' first='Price' last='Orcutt'] who has emerged in her sophomore year as not only one of the best players in her class, but one of the best in the state, despite being just a sophomore.

Orcutt is a dynamic midfielder who impacts both sides of the ball at a high level. She thrives in open space offensively and has proven to be one of the fastest players in the nation. As a freshman, she posted a 7.79-second 60m time, the second-fastest mark among freshmen in Pennsylvania. She uses her speed to her advantage, and it has become one of the most difficult aspects of her game for defenders to contain.

Defensively, Orcutt is a heads-up player who is not afraid to get involved in a scrum for a ground ball. She is certainly a Division I talent and is expected to draw interest not only from lacrosse programs across the country, but also from collegiate track teams.

Few players in the state are off to a start like [player_tooltip player_id='71278' first='Lilyana' last='Dilts']. Through four games, the freshman midfielder has compiled 19 goals and 10 assists for Warwick, tied for fourth in scoring in the Lancaster-Lebanon League.

Dilts is comfortable driving both ways and is more than capable of quarterbacking the Warwick offense despite being only a freshman. She is patient with the ball and will reset rather than force an entry pass she is unsure of. Dilts understands how to control tempo from the midfield position, but is not afraid to hold onto the ball on the opponent's half of the field to ensure her team generates the best possible scoring opportunity.

With an already impressive freshman season underway, Dilts is certainly a name to watch and should become a familiar presence within the Pennsylvania lacrosse scene in the years to come. She has the makings of a future Division I athlete and is likely to draw significant interest from programs across the country.

[player_tooltip player_id='47674' first='Grace' last='Harvey'] is a disruptive defender who forces turnovers and shuts down opposing offenses. Her head is always up and on a swivel, and she consistently makes impressive, goal-saving interceptions.

A dual-sport athlete in basketball and lacrosse, Harvey reads opposing offenses like few players in the state. She is extremely dangerous in open space when she comes up with a takeaway or secures a ground ball, often turning defense into transition opportunities.

Harvey was recently selected to the New Balance All-America Showcase, and last summer, she was named MVP of Penn State's prospect camp.

Harvey has the makings of an elite defender at the next level and should draw interest from collegiate programs in both sports.

[player_tooltip player_id='71338' first='Mallory' last='Boivin'] is a dangerous attacker from Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, who has led the charge for Pine-Richland so far this season. Boivin's athleticism is off the charts, and her ability to beat defenders one-on-one is a large reason why she has been on the varsity team since her freshman season.

One of Boivin's strongest attributes is her relentlessness. She never gives up on a play, especially after turning the ball over in the opponent's half of the field.

Boivin was selected to the 2025 All-WPIAL team, the 2024 and 2025 All-Section First Team, and the 2024 Pittsburgh National Team. Now in her junior season, Boivin is already making a major impact for Pine-Richland early in the year, which currently sits undefeated in non-league play with just a few games remaining before section play begins. Boivin is a name that will be heard often this season as she looks to help lead Pine-Richland into the state championship tournament.

Committing a foul against [player_tooltip player_id='71336' first='Haleigh' last='Lynn'] is nearly an automatic goal for her and Bishop Shanahan - she is that accurate and savvy on free-position attempts. A Class of 2028 attacker from Downingtown, Pennsylvania, Lynn is a dynamic and shifty player capable of winning nearly all of her one-on-one battles.

And when she gets by her defender is where she capitalizes. If opponents are unable to recover and get back in front of her, it often leads to a foul, where Lynn specializes.

Whether she chooses to take a few steps in and fire or use her speed to attack the cage, Lynn consistently finds the back of the net. Her accuracy is next level, and her shot speed ranks among the fastest in the state.

In Bishop Shanahan's March 25 matchup against Great Valley, Lynn earned a pair of free-position attempts and converted both, placing shots into the top right and top left corners for two goals in a 5-3 victory.

Only a sophomore, Lynn is already shaping up to be an impact player within the Pennsylvania lacrosse scene. And for a Bishop Shanahan team with state title aspirations, dynamic playmakers like Lynn will be key pieces in helping them get there.
