There is so much talent in the 2027 class in the Upstate N.Y area. Here are five committed players who will be riveting to watch this high school season.    There are not many players like Pisano. The Boston College commit can play anywhere on the field and be a presence. Her strength and athleticism show in everything she does. She has a power shot from the 8 and is equally as comfortable dodging multiple defenders to finish off a drive. She is explosive in every movement. She has a true next-level sense of the game and can be seen helping and giving direction based on what she sees in a situation. She will be a huge asset to Boston College and its offense.     [player_tooltip player_id='46876' first='Whitney' last='Reynolds'], who is committed to Florida State University, is more than just an elite attacker. When the ball is in her stick, you know she is capable of an incredibly athletic and intelligent double dodge and high percentage shot. What makes Reynolds stand out is her incredibly high off-ball IQ. One of her strongest attributes is her explosive first step and timing. Reynolds can be seen calculating her timing and exploding through a cut to finish with a lethal shot. Her athleticism and awareness make her that much more of a threat anywhere she is on the field.     [player_tooltip player_id='47002' first='Emily' last='Ciesinski'] is a left-handed goalie who is incredibly dynamic. The Clemson commit is a consistent communicator for her defensive unit. Not only is she elite between the pipes, but she can be seen backing up shots and making outlet passes under pressure. Ciesinski is a brick wall when it comes to low shots, which many goalies would call their weakness. She is so agile and strong that she can transition her body from the ground back to ready position in time for any second shot opportunity. She is incredibly comfortable making a quick, long clear the second she has the ball in her stick to start the fast break transition the other way.     Hand, a left-handed goalie committed to Florida, makes her presence known when she is on the field. Not only does she make clutch saves, even in a 1v0 situation, but her transitional game also speaks for itself. She is extremely comfortable outside of the crease. She can be seen backing up shots, marking cutters, and serving as an outlet for teammates. She is confident with the ball in her stick under pressure when exiting the circle. She can seamlessly clear the ball on the run with either hand, even when defended. She is captivating to watch and will only enhance the Florida roster.     DeFondi is a right-handed attacker, but you would never know based on how she plays. DeFondi can dodge, shoot, and feed equally with both hands, showing no preference to appear truly ambidextrous. In addition to her driving and feeding capabilities, DeFondi is lethal off-ball. Her ability to read defenders as well as her teammates lands her repetitive cutting opportunities where she seamlessly places the ball where it needs to be in the back of the net. The Syracuse commit also plays the draw circle, where her athleticism shines.
