Lake Highland Prep 2028s Setting the Standard

I had the opportunity to watch Lake Highland Prep, and they are no joke. This group of girls is a true force to be reckoned with. What makes this group even more impressive is that these athletes also compete together for the 2028 Black with M&D Orlando, one of the top club programs in the region.   While Lake Highland Prep has strong upperclassmen contributing to the team's success, it's this sophomore class that sets the tone. The future of this program is incredibly bright. As these players continue to develop together, this team will become nearly unstoppable.    Jakiewicz immediately stood out as a game-changer. She is a true two-way midfielder who impacts every part of the game. She's a shifty, relentless dodger with an explosive first step, making her extremely difficult to defend. In transition, she's consistently involved and pushes the pace. While on offense, she can both create her own shot and facilitate for teammates. Defensively, her physicality and ability to generate turnovers make her just as valuable on the other end. With her complete skill set and accolades, she has proved herself to be a high-level recruit and one to keep a close eye on.     Park is a dynamic lefty attacker who brings a unique edge to the offense. Her dominant left hand consistently catches defenders off guard. She has a go-to dodge that is incredibly difficult to stop, and once she gains a step, she's tough to contain. What makes her even more dangerous is her vision; when defenses slide or double, she finds the open player and creates scoring opportunities for her teammates. She's a key piece on attack and someone opposing teams need to account for at all times.     Ferris made an immediate impact on the defensive end. She stands out not only for her defensive presence but also for her role in transition. She's smooth with both hands, plays with speed, and is extremely reliable in the clearing game. Ferris reads offenses well, anticipates passes, and comes up with great interceptions. Having a defender who can be trusted in transition the way she can is a major asset.     Ventura brings quickness and creativity to the offensive side of the game. She plays with impressive footwork and shifty movement that makes her difficult to defend. She showed versatility by contributing to the draw circle at times, coming up with key possessions. Ventura has excellent shot placement and makes smart, timely cuts to the goal. Her ability to find space and get her shot off under pressure makes her a constant threat, and defenders consistently struggle to keep up with her.     Moore is another key contributor on the defensive end for Lake Highland Prep. She brings a strong combination of strength and field awareness. Moore excels in 1v1 defense, using her physicality and positioning to shut down attackers. Her determination and consistency make her a reliable presence and an important piece of her team's defensive success.
